Futian Biomedical Innovation Research and Development Center
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Futian Biomedical Innovation Research and Development Center has a total investment of 100 million and Professor Ye Dequan is the director of the center. The Center has been approved by Futian Government as a Public Institution in June 2020, with a Governing Board management system which has authorized the director managing the business of the center. The center is located in Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, adjacent to the Boarder of HongKong. Center aims to participate in the scheme of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation for the strategy to deepen the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in science and technology, implement and cooperate with the mid-term and long-term modern industrial system development strategies in Futian District, to develop a globally competitive biopharmaceutical transformation research platform, and to promote the development of the biomedical industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; and to provide cutting-edge research services to biomedical enterprises or institutions in the Greater Bay Area. The scope of the Center is to provide platform services, training, technology transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship support for biomedical research and in the fields of targeted and innovated drug discovery, biological big data analysis and application, precision and regenerative medicine research and transformation, modernization of Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical chemistry synthesis.
