Introduction to Research
The School of Medicine, Life and Health Sciences research is focusing on life sciences and health sciences ranging from molecular through cellular to the organism level, drug discoveries, biomedical applications and Chinese medicine investigations. Studying this territory allows us to identify common principles that operate across the breadth of living systems and investigate solutions to major health challenges. Research is supported by cutting-edge computational and experimental technologies. We have three Nobel Laureates Research Institutes, the Arieh Warshel Institute of Computational Biology, the Kobilka Institute of Innovative Drug Discover, and the Ciechanover Institute of Precision and Regenerative Medicine. The state-of –art facility of the Cryo-Electron Microscopy Centre, is the key facility for the interdisciplinary researches and technology transformation.
