On May 5th, a team of doctors from the Shenzhen People's Hospital, led by Dr. She Ruilian, the Director of the Obstetrical Department, visited LHS and were warmly welcomed by Prof. Tony Li, Associate Vice President and Director of Research Adminstration Office, and Prof. Richard Ye, Dean of LHS. The guests came to exchange research ideas with researchers of LHS and discuss further collaboration between Shenzhen People's Hospital and LHS.

Introduction
At 2pm, Prof. Tony Li, Associate Vice President and Director of Research Administration Office, delivered the welcome speech and expressed his full support in building the collaborative relationship.
In the following, Prof. Richard Ye started with the School introduction.
Experiences and Ideas Exchange
Led by Dr. She, the doctors from Shenzhen People's Hospital wished to seek collaboration and support in fundamental health sciences perspectives from researchers of LHS in order to solve the problems in the diagnosis and treatment of some difficult and complicated diseases they have seen in clinical experience, such as amniotic fluid embolism, acute fatty liver of pregnancy, pre-eclampsia and so on.
Prof. Richard Ye, Prof. Ruobing Ren, Prof. Yang Du and Dr. Jihang Chen shared their experience and ideas.
During the meeting, LHS members and doctors also discussed further collaboration opportunities in research and education.
Campus Tour
After the meeting, Prof. Richard Ye and Prof. Ruobing Ren accompanied the guests for a campus tour including visiting of Cryo-EM lab.
We hope that in the near future, the School of Life and Health Sciences of CUHK(SZ) and the Shenzhen People's Hospital will push collaboration to the new height, together contributing to the development of life and health sciences industries in the Greater Bay Area.
