The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) announced the formal establishment of the School of Life and Health Sciences on November 14, 2018. Four colleges with undergraduate to doctoral training systems. The college focuses on teaching, research and innovation in life and health sciences. Adhering to the love of all sectors of society and schools in 2019, we successfully completed our first year since our establishment at the end of 2018. This year, the LHSers worked together to overcome the difficulties, and with the spirit of hard work and unyielding will, they worked hard to build the college into a life and health college with distinctive academic characteristics and international fame. This year, we have had a lot of gains. The progress and development in scientific research, teaching, and foreign cooperation are all delightful. Looking back on 2019 and looking forward to 2020, I hope the future of LHS is even better!
